Gomaxi! extension for Firefox

There’s a little companion for GoMaxi!, a Firefox extension. It just adds a column when you search for athletes to buy, displaying a computed ‘value index’. Currenlty it’s too rough, has little use. Still with a little practice, it does help you in spotting good athletes. Anyway I hope to improve it later. You can find it at the gomaxi-ext download page.

Beware that the BVI shown is different from the one used by GoMaxi!, a few data is missing. Tested on firefox from 1.0.8 to 2.0rc1. Someone reported that it does not work on the Windows version of firefox 2.0rc1.

Updated for the changes to the market page. The link to relive has been removed, for there’s a native link now. The weights for BVI has been updated to take into account the new +++++ skill rating in the event pages.

Tsunami asked me to add another link, to his luckythlon page. For simplicity sake, I’ve placed it in the (hatchery) athlete page. Putting it at the most sensible place - in the page you get right after you “pull” a new youngster - would have meant making various tests, each test meaning a new pull for my team, that is only 4 available tests per week, plus a cost of 20k! Tsunami asked me to add a link to his relive page. After some effort, here it is, on the competition pages. Supported languages: English and Italian. Some screenshots: screen-ff1.png, screen-ff2.png.

I’ve just noticed (after months I haven’t been using it) there were some small changes to the market page. Rolled out a new version. The GoMaxi! pages now lie on a new server.

Ned just added the column for Care, now the BVI takes that into account, too.
